MEET RAIDER RICKY
EVERY SQUAD MEMBER
HAS A STORY.
Raider Ricky learned to find hidden paths among the wooded outskirts of Ashland County. His stealth, local knowledge, and talent for spotting overlooked routes first brought him into contact with Devil Dog's Tactical Squad during a nighttime navigation exercise. Ricky was not part of the squad's original canine lineup.
After helping the team find an unexpected way around an obstacle, he began working alongside them as an outside specialist. His unconventional ideas repeatedly proved too valuable to ignore, and he eventually earned his place as the squad's first non-canine member. Today, First Lieutenant Ricky serves as the squad's Stealth Operations Specialist and the host of Raider Ricky's Midnight Outpost.
He teaches recruits to study their surroundings, expect the unexpected, and communicate when they discover a better plan. Ricky did not become a Devil Dog by trying to be exactly like everyone else. He earned his place through courage, loyalty, resourcefulness, and teamwork, and the entire squad became stronger by making room for what he did differently.
